One of the goals we have for Sogno sul Poggio is a working olive grove that will be used to produce our own olive oil.

Our current tree inventory now stands at roughly 95.  We think total capacity will be 120 trees.  Olive trees take roughly 5 years from new to be producing trees.

We would like to invite everyone to “adopt an olive tree”.  In exchange for your adoption fee, your name will attached to the tree by plaque, and a photo of your tree will be sent to you.  Your plaque will stay up for life.  Trees can be plaqued in your name or in a loved one’s name.  You can come and visit your tree and, during harvesting season, you are also welcome to come and pick your tree’s olives.

Cost to adopt a tree is only $100.  This does not include olive oil from our grove.  If you’re interested in buying  olive oil, we’ll let you know the cost of that when we start production in a few years.
